and omg, Luke and Lorelai said "I love you"! that's huge and they didn't even make a big deal about it.

wow...Lorelai fainted. don't know what to say to that. Poor Luke...hopefully he'll stand by her as she tries to deal with her mother. When Emily gets like that I can't stand the woman.

WOW. that ending was pretty tense. I'm surprised the kids (especially Rory) didn't start crying. On second thought, Jess wouldn't have cried definitely but Rory is just sensitive enough to get upset over seeing her mother yell at her grandparents.

Anyway, good job. I'm glad I found this story again because it's addictive. P

anyway, so once worked for Emily. That's something I never would have thought of. good twist. I wonder if Jess lived with her at the Gilmore mansion while she was working there. That would be coincidental when they go to Friday night dinner.

I don't know which of the two choices I want...so I'll see what has won in the next chapter..which is...NOW.

anyway, good chapter. and five year old Jess sounds cute but is really reading "Goodnight Moon" while Rory's reading "Flowers for Algernon"? She's a little ahead of him, isn't she? LOL.

LOL. this chapter was funny. vintage Lorelai trying to cover up the kiss from Rory. So glad Rory a very mature kid, especially for five.

Now, on to the next chapter.

I loved this chapter...especially when Luke asked Lorelai to dinner...and the kiss! I loved how they had their first kiss too.

btw, I also like how you're setting up Rory to be how she is at 16 when we first *met* her. Good job.

one more thing, that movie "Shock Treatment"...that sounded suspiciously like a sequel to Rocky Horror Picture Show. Is it a real movie? I'd never heard of it let alone any sequel to Rocky Horror.

Good chapter as always. I'm looking forward to the next one.

I really like the idea of Rory not being accepted into any of the three colleges she applied for. I don't think I've ever seen a story based on that idea before. It's a plausible one too. With so many people with excellent credentials who apply to those colleges, pure chance dictates that some of the best students will still be rejected because of limited space. After all, Harvard rejected Paris, and she was more prepared than anyone for an Ivy League school.

Emily and Richard's reactions would be very interesting, and they would show whether they truly love Rory or not. Rory doesn't have to go to one of those colleges to be a success, and I'm sure Lorelai, Luke, and everyone else from Stars Hollow would remind her of that. But we all know Emily never wants to accept anything less than what she views as perfection. Richard might come around eventually, but I think Emily's inevitable accusations of Lorelai failing her daughter may push Rory over the edge unlike anything before. At the very least, their relationship would never recover unless Emily accepts that her granddaughter is still an intelligent, wonderful person who doesn't need Harvard or Yale to succeed in life.

This could get them somewhere. Great chapter, very well written! Update soon!

Another great chapter, really love it! And my vote goes to the first one. I never got the change to review the last chapter, although I would have voted for Richard dying anyway. It was the best option so I'm glad it won :D
