I don't know how I missed this story but it is beautiful! I always thought the wheelchair was a non-issue for Max.

I know it seems like a little late for a review NOW, probably a year after you have written and posted this fic, but i was going through all my old favourites while waiting for Hilary to finish the story arc for VS3 and i realised i had never reviewed, and that is bad :o)

You did an amazing job on conveying the way Max feels about the wheelchair not being an issue, by just not mentioning it till the like very end.

I like it, alot, they are both portrayed as human, all to often people portray Logan as a Whiner or wimp.

That worked. I still cannot get over that last scene. I think that is beautiful. I love the ceremony! :)

This is a very sweet story. I expected Bling to be best man, but the fact that you had Sam standing up there as one of Logan's groomsmen was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. I loved it when you had Zack telling Max "Soldier! Get your head in the game! There is no way you're abandoning this mission now!" And I can certainly identify with the "Pure Terror" that Max felt. I felt the exact same way on my wedding day. When I walked down the aisle I kept thinking "What have I gotten myself into?!" But when it came to saying my vows, everything became alright because I realised that there wasn't anything that I was saying that wasn't true. I'm not surprised that you have Max and Logan dancing to Sibelius' Valse Triste during their reception, but I wonder if anyone on the show knows the rather macabre story behind that waltz. The waltz is from a play called Kuolema ("Death"), and it's about an old woman rising up from her death bed to have one last dance before Death comes to claim her.
