I know it's been years since I first read this story, and I've read it several times since, but this is the first time I've written a review for it or favorited it. I'm ashamed to say it's because it's so sad it breaks my heart everytime, and I'm a coward when it come to emotonal pain. I've read this story so many times. It always makes me so sad. It's so well written! Has to be one of my fav stories of all time. I started thinking he was dead in the mission room when genma says "take care of yourself" idk the ignoring and everthing just lead to it hhah aw again i love this story. I wanna go cry now hahha

I've read this story before and even knowing the situation, it breaks my heart. I literally get depressed and tearful, and I have to get away from the computer till the feeling goes away. You've done an amazing job of conveying these feelings into me as if I were the one to experience the tragedy (one I've never personally experienced myself in the real world). This story is the one that evokes the most emotion out of any story that I've read.

Wow...I'm totally having flash backs to Sixth Sense. But like not in a bad way because this was sweet and good and angsty all at once...but yeah. Sixth Sense. At least I assume I'm suppose to be reading it as 'Kakashi's dead and watching over Iruka'? Since Iruka never actually speaks to him or anything. Either way, quite good. I love your Kakashi and Iruka very much. Your sappy fluff fics are still my favorites but this was great for bittersweet.

i got the hint when Kakashi whispers Iruka's name at the beginning and he just look at the clock first..that is my hint and after that the lines just getting obvious and i nearly dont want to cry at first..
but when i read for second time and REALLY read with the song play together..the feeling just pouring out and i just want to say THIS STORY IS JUST SO VERY GOOD!!~

I actually cried after reading this.
It took me a few moments to understand that Kakashi was the one who was dead...but once it hit me, I completely lost it! It was wonderful, but such a tragedy.

Great job. Also, you did a nice job on the tense! I know from personal experience how difficult present tense is (I suck at it! XD)...
