YES! That is so true! Yep, totally what he was thinking.
Feeding-The-Wolves 7/25/09 . chapter 1
this is exactly what I thought of the second I heard Qui-Gon say that! Of course, Jedi apprentice came after the Phantom Menace, but I think George Lucas was showing how Qui-Gon grieves for the Jedi friends he has who have died. So it fits perfectly! Well done!

No, I totally agree with you. Qui-Gon's expression was more of 'regretful that Jedi friends of his had died' rather than because he knew that he was going to die.

besides Qui-Gon was a Jedi and his character was not that of someone who would be afraid of death. further more, Quigon's area of expertise was the Living Force and thus he was unlikely to have a premonition at all let alone one of his own death.

I thought it was a lovely piece, hampered only by it's short length.

I completely agree (and everyone criticizes me) but it was Tahl. No way he predicted his own death!

Justice of the People 8/24/06 . chapter 1
Ah, that was really sweet. I think that it can make sense. I can see both points of view for why Qui-Gon said those words, actually. I'm not entirely sure which I believe, but I can't help but think that he didn't know for sure that he was going to die. Otherwise why would he try to make Anakin his apprentice? Also, and granted he might have accepted his death, but wouldn't he have tried to keep certain events from happening in the fight with Darth Maul? Anyway, that's just my take on things. I like the way you portrayed it, and I see why you put it in J.A. It was really sweet.

My brother and I have always thought that that was what Qui-gon meant. I've never realised that there were people who thought otherwise. Thanks...Great story...well, what there was of it...lol...

Catrocks 11/20/05 . chapter 1
Pretty good. Very short and too the point, which is what is needed in a lot of fics.

Also, thanks for reviewing my story!
Sir Not-Appering-In-This-Show 11/8/05 . chapter 1
That's an interesting reaction to that scene.

I never thought about that before.
Qui-Gon's Girl 10/28/05 . chapter 1
Oh, I love Qui-Gon SO much! I always close my eyes when Darth Maul, (CURSE HIS NAME)..*sob* k-kills him...*bursts into noisy tears*

Okay, I'm back.

You know, the SECOND time I saw the Phantom Menace, I thought, "OMG! He knows he's going to die!" I really think that he does, that's why he looks so sad, coz he can't tell anyone...*sobs*

Anyhoo, this is so sweet and lovely but its short and simple. Bravo!
