ooh, sent shivers up and down my spine! You really had a dream like this? I wish I had dreams where Erik was plaing the violin to me.^^ Very poetic, very sensual, I could see the scene play out before my eyes. Great job!

Like I said, I love this one. It's so wonderfully Erik. Just letting you know I saw it at last. ^__^

Wow. You, my friend, are a poet! I can very much see this happening, though in all honesty, I REFUSE to believe that E/M pairings are even possible LOL...but I can really picture Meg's feelings for him (if they are unrequited by the Phantom) because, seriously, who can blame her? "Rich ebony sound"...that is more than a fitting description of his music. His colour, his soul colour, is black. He is darkness and music, and his only light, his only redemption, comes from the compassion of those who love him. Beautiful, how you've married Meg's thoughts with his music throughout, and the uncertainty--his, unsure how to react to her, and hers, unsure how to react to his reaction. I love that--"He almost touches me"...that man knows what he's doing. Cruel Phantom. LOL And you ended it fantastically. It's a dark poem, and you closed with a hint of fading light, to shed a little hope on Erik's soul but to keep the shadowy aura of the entire piece still in tact. This is gorgeous--I wish I was a poet. Anyway, thank you so much for reviewing my fic...you have absolutely no idea how much it meant to me (gosh that sounds so cliche!), unless you yourself get as thrilled as I do over reviews! As writers, we know what it takes to put our all into a piece of writing, and it becomes very important that people recognize it. Oh, and I'm 18, in response to your question. Decades and decades of wisdom? I wouldn't claim it for myself! But what you've got here--that's wise, and beautiful. Though the two instances are completely different, it reminds me of when Christine gives Phantom that look of pure love and sorrow before and after she removes his mask during Don Juan. That was wisdom. It's like, how can someone so young even KNOW that kind of compassion? Your writing of Meg's thoughts keeps that alive, somehow--that wisdom that is granted to someone who has been forced to grow up too quickly. Write others! You keep Erik so perfectly in-character, even with just a few words.
