That was so so so so cute! Very in character for all of them, and I loved how you wound it all into the war. A couple of spelling mistakes, but I can overlook that because I love it so much. :) Perfect closing line, too.

I love how Hermione made the first move by playing chess with Ron and accidentally admitted it to him. And the ending was perfect.
