great story so far

First, this is an incredibly well done chapter.

That said -- I've been reading Part the First and Part the Second. Parts of Part the One got rocky and hard to follow, but throughout you made me *want* to stick with it. After awhile in Part the Second I just got so tired of all the anger, but *still* you made me want to keep reading. All in all, I'm enjoying your story, find your writing a bit frustrating at times (but much better in Part the Second), and find that your story continues to intrigue me.

While I'm not there yet, it looks as though you may have dropped Part the Third. I do hope you eventually finish it, as I expect to be pulled along by your writing all the way to the current end and find myself still hoping for more.

I really like this story, I shall go read the sequel now.

the fight between snape and lupin was hilarious. they were bickering like small, violent children. lol

i love tobias's personality in diagon alley. oh, and i've always loved the name toby.

i just remembered something that was bothering me... you said the krums came from romania, but victor plays for bulgaria. my knowledge of world geography is really quite sad (it took me until two months ago in u.s. history to realize how small the other countries look).
anyway, i always figured that durmstrang was in russia. is romania near that? i used to have a friend from romania, and her language always made me think of spanish... anyway, just curious.

i really like the way harry behaves. i prefer cocky, sarcastic, even preening harry, to moping, i-want-to-die or murder someone harry

still very good. i'm curious as to what harry actually looks like though. all you told me is that he has a big nose, greasy hair, is skeletally thin, and covered in scars. not the most pleasing thing for a girl to hear about her favorite character...

dumbledore is really an idiot if he never bothers to check the loyalties of his followers. maybe he could sick harry on them. fear seems to work wonders for voldemort. and then they'd need some sort of unbreakable tie to order, like the dark mark, so they can be killed or obliviated immediately if they betray it...

gr... dumbledore...
i really hope harry can manage to come out on top in some other way than making people miserable. i can't stand seeing him so weak and forced to put up with manipulations for his own good. i don't want him to turn evil, but i hope things get better when he goes to hogwarts. and i don't want to see him anywhere near ron and hermione! if harry's playing snape's nephew, doesn't that mean he'll have to act like it? snape practically told lucius that his nephew slept with anything on two legs... eek. i look forward to how you pull that persona off.

Love it, absolutely love it. Dumbledore gets yelled at, giving one a feeling of satisfaction, the man is so unbearably calm all the time, but then it goes on to his point of view, and then one understands. Just like in the actual book, Dumbledore is The-only-man-Voldemort-Ever-Feared. In that way, he and Harry are so much alike, though Dumbledore has been doing it so many more years than Harry.

It made me feel Almost sorry for Dumbledore, the fact that one knows he has to bear all this, it's all his fault, but he still deserved to get smacked down a notch.

Very well written, I love it. I can't wait to finishthe rest of this and go onto the third part. You're a very, very good writer. It's so easy to see what is hapenng.
