The title intrigued me because I know the song. It's one of my favorites (if it's possible to have a favorite song) and I can see where you got the inspiration to write this fic. You have Daisuke's character pegged. Anyone who is that happy all the time...something has to be wrong... Well-done. Who's POV, just out of curiosity, do you know?

This was depressing. I think Daisuke committed suicide because of Takeru and Hikari because of all the references to hope and light. But that's just my intepretation. Anyway, good job. Very poetic.
