What is RIGHT with this story? I mean, it is absolutely ridiculous that Aragorn and Legolas would have an affair, I can't believe you would even think such an idea. You have absolutely killed the friendship between the elf and man, by turning it into a gay love affair?! Well done, for ruining my viewing of the film trilogy whenver Legolas and Aragorn are present.

Amazing. You encorporate so well your four characters- Gimili's musings on silence and Earth, Legolas' greif, Aragorn himself, and Gimli's discovery of them. Aided by powerful imagery and perfectly in the style of 'old', this piece really deserves celebration. Some of your sentences are so beautiful and fraught with meaning, I want to copy paste them and keep them forever. I'm going to see what else you have written.
