celerystalksatmidnight 2006-08-07 ch 8,	abuseSo i had seen this fic around here and there, but i avoided it on account of "What if we never met" sounded like the title of something that would be very lame. But then one thing led to another and, to make a not very long story even shorter, i read it. You know what? It was good. Really really good. Some parts were, i thought, a little bit predictable, but that didn't make them less enjoyable. Sanji's part, on the Barati, was beautiful. It felt rather...true. Also, in the last chapter, the scene where everyone was waking up "At the same time, in the men’s cabin below deck...because Sanji had been cursing loudly so early in the morning." I was cracking up! And then there was that bit with Luffy and the panic, it just turned my world all topsy turvey like! That was really well done. Thank you.

I would have thought Whitecape would want to kill the whole crew, but I guess he was just using them to get to Luffy, huh? I love Luffy telling Merry about it all at the end, and the boys arguing about who woke up who - and that very last line. Great job!

Good to see that it was all just a dream and everything's back to normal though. ^^ I especially loved the last part, how Luffy was telling Merry everything, and how everyone could hear Luffy in their dreams. You write the characters superbly and I really believe that's what would have happened had they not met Luffy. Thanks goodness they did. Five stars from me.
Saiyako 2005-11-20 ch 7,	abuse"We're not done" means this is just a horrible, horrible cliffie, right? So Luffy can still wake up on the Merry with all his nakama around him, right? Right? Anyway... I find "everyone dies" stories hard to review. Mostly because the good ones, like this one, tend to leave me feeling empty... But it's beautifully written - I love how IC they are, and the little details - Usopp finding his courage when he has nowhere else to turn, Zoro admitting his failure to Kuina... It's painful, but beautiful.

I get inspired...once I actually stayed up all night writing a Naruto fic where Naruto's parents are killed by the mob boss Kyuubi, but really it's Kakashi who kills them because he's been employed by Kyuubi-sama and...but that doesn't matter because it's prolly getting trashed. ::freaks out:: it made me like GaiIruka!! ANyways, if you have no idea what I'm talking of...ESPN NINJAS!! ((Will never forget that, hurrah for Digitaldreamer and COnstable-sama, ne?)) ANyways, more as soon as you will please, poor Luffy!!
