Very well written. Severus was very in character. You brought up a valid point, that Severus got more punishments than the Marauders, even after Sirius nearly got him killed. Why didn't Sirius recieve a harsh punishment, he should have been tried as a child for attempted murder, but given how the wizarding world works, the only one who'd suffer in doing so would be Remus. They'd most likely kill him for something that he had no control over. Loved it.

Yes, but we know now those boys never _were_ dealt with, even when they nearly killed Snape (and James ended up a hero, and Head Boy, while Snape probably lost more points and got more detentions for almost being killed. Maybe he even had to serve them with his attempted murderer-that is, if Sirius Black was penalized at all). And we saw how much Dumbledore really valued Snape in DH.

A pity Snape didn't have any real friends. It would been awfully nice if he had. Maybe Firenze fetched Snape's body out of the Shack, since it didn't seem anybody was in any hurry to see if he was alive or dead after showing Harry how he had to win the war.

Harry was rescued, of course. He always was.

Nobody ever rescued Snape.

Good story, wish it had been true. But it's clear not even Hagrid cared, or he might have remembered that not all Slytherins are Dark and Evil when talking to Harry.

Beautiful work, absolutly beautiful! It was so realisitic, plausable and emotional. You wrote everything so well, all the emotions and thoughts were perfectly expressed and you did the characters wonderfully. This idea of the event was so brillaint, never read it before, and I wish it'd happened because it helped poor Severus. Excellant job! I wish there was more.

This was an amazing fic! Firenze and Severus would definately get along well. Though, it would be interesting to see how their friendship develops as Sev grows older.

This is good stuff. You've got Severus' emotions down really well, and I like how you've developed this from what happened in OotP. I love the interaction with Firenze. Not so sure about the hug, though - I could see someone else hugging, but not Severus.
