Nicely written, though I'd like to add one thing. Those who are lost don't simply fade away in to nothingness. Remember, the Bible says that the lost are destined for eternal punishment in the lake of fire...a far worse fate than simply fading away...A sad truth, but it is truth none-the-less.

It touched my heart. I can't tell you more than that. However, suspiciously, i think that's all you wanted to hear. :-)

I would tell you not to listen to those voices that are speaking against or trying to belittle these ideas but i believe you already know better than that.

Nice work. Very nice. So true. God knows us infinitely better than we know ourselves. He created every atom of the universe, and every particle of each and every one of us. He knew us perfectly, before we even knew ourselves. He is our beginning and our end. If we would only trust in this infinite wisdom and grace, rather than arrogantly trying to fumble through the myriad snares of this world, with only our own weak and pitiable human whims to follow.
Even after our selfish and prideful rejection of His supreme Goodness, He offered us a means of redemption, in the blood of His Son, the Word, the Lamb, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, the Anointed One.
True God and true man, He lived among us; He decisively altered the course of human events ever after; He literally split history in two...
He went willingly to death, and not just death, but the horrible death of the cross.
He, the Most Pure One, took the ugliness of our sins upon Himself, to offer the atonement that only the Perfect One, the Infinite One, could provide, for sins against an all-perfect God.
In profound love He humbled Himself, to take on Himself our human nature, while fully retaining His perfect divinity. God Incarnate. The Word made Flesh. He suffered as man, and as God His suffering had infinite worth, to pay the debt we owed but could not ever pay...
His merciful grace is offered to each and every one of us if only we seek His way.

"Why do you refuse to come out of the darkness in into My light?"
Not one of us knows the day or the hour when we will have to answer to this, for all eternity.

Really? Well isn't that just a bit unfair? It sounds more like a veiled threat to me...lol. Don't take me seriously, I just found a fandom for the bible...and that's just too funny.

I'm a happy unbeliever :D and don't plan on dying...or having my flame extinguished anytime soon.

I am not deaf, nor am I blind or even lost. I do the right thing, I treat others kindly even if I do not get the same treatment in return. I value life above all else and I make sure to do everything I can for those in need. I don't do drugs, am still a virgin and don't drink and I plan never to do either that or drugs. The fact is, I like to think that I'm a good person, even if the world is cruel. The only difference here is I don't believe in God. Never have, never will. It's nice to think that for those that really are lost they have some image of someone bigger out there to be there. It's a pretty dream. It's just sad others take it too far. Maybe someday you too will wake from the dream and realize the reality that is life. Here's hoping you wake up.

Wow that's beautiful. The truth of God's immense love for us, His infinite wisdom, His absolute knowledge of each and every soul He created, His perfect goodness exemplified by the perfect sign of love, the Sacrifce.
The tragedy of those who will not accept His grace.

Why? Because for every pleasure in this world that fails to satisfy me there is two more that I am sure will. Because I believe that my own righteousness will be enough to keep me in good standing with a kind and reasonable God or because God will never forgive me for what I have done. Because… I am a lost. (Sarcasm of course.)
