Really well written, Harry's emotions and self questions are just right. You really seem to have been able to capture some of the ideas that might have been flitting round his head on that dark night.

This is just how I'd imagine Ginny being Harry's "best source of comfort" in canon. A perfect missing moment. You're a really talented writer - this really does feel like it was what happened - like a deleted scene from Rowling's script or something. Harry's feelings are just right. And I really like Dean and Seamus in here. They never get much attention, but I do think they'd feel a bit annoyed they're always left out. Even if it's not exactly pleasant to be in "Potter's circle" all the time either.

Anyway, I loved this, as you can probably tell. Amazing job!

That is really sweet. Having Harry and Ginny talking like that to each other. And to what Dean said to Seamus about being on a break with Ginny, dream on. Although Seamus could've been a little nicer to Colin.
