Fay93 2009-01-03 . chapter 10I've been on the hunt for MP stories -- and this is a find. I love the tone and language -- it flows so nicely. And your Susan is charming. I hope you'll update soon, sometime. |
meiwee 2007-07-17 . chapter 1 I love your writing and the way the story is progressing. Looking forward to your next post. Keep it up. |
 Lady Susan 2007-07-12 . chapter 8Two words...LOVE IT!
Two more words...UPDATE SOON! |
DolphinAnimagus 2006-04-06 . chapter 6There aren't nearly enough Mansfield Park stories on this site and I was quite happy to find this one. I like how you're developing Susan as a character, including her struggle whether to follow Julia's influence or Fanny's guidance. Your style is rather like JA's as well. Please continue this story--I'd love to see how things progress. |
Renee 2006-01-13 . chapter 6 I just read your bio and hust wanted to say that I live how dedicated you are to God, it's to rare these days, kinda sad really...but great to know there *are* some people like you :) |
jvcla25 2005-12-26 . chapter 6Trying to wrap my brain around Julia's heartlessness. She's not really evil - but she is doing evil. I guess she needs to tear people down to her own level. Keep going. |
idlewild 2005-12-11 . chapter 6 Lovely yummy stuff. Poor little Susan. Does cameo appearance Mr. Firth have flashing, Byronic eyes?
I always liked Fanny but mostly because she had to have backbone to keep standing up for her morals. She's a bit less easy to like with Edmund roped in to sermonize for her. Not her fault I suppose. Susan's charming and Julia and Mr. Yates seem well in character. I like what you've done with Sir Thomas too. And I'm always happy to see more Lady Bertram, she's so beautifully stupid and langorous. |
Rocksey 2005-10-07 . chapter 4So are Yates and Julia taking Mr. and Miss Crawfords places in this? Great chapter by the way :) |
Rocksey 2005-09-30 . chapter 3You did a very good job copying JA's style but I have to say that Susan and Julia are way out of character. They're more like P&P's Lydia and Kitty. No offense. It's just constructive critisism |
mirandasdream 2005-09-10 . chapter 1Just wanted to tell you what a wonderful job you are doing with trying to keep up with Jane Austen's style. I know, it's difficult, but you are doing great! |
