What a lovely story. Jim/Cath is quite a possible 'ship, though they'd never do it on screen, and you make it not only logical but pretty much inevitable. Brass' doubts are quite natural, and I enjoyed you putting Catherine through some unaccustomed introspection.

I'd love to see a sequel with an Ellie follow-up, but then maybe you have! :D I'll go look.

I just read from chapter 1 to chapter 13 and I loved every second of it! It's one of the hottest days of the year in my home town and I am really, really hot but your story was so great that I think I feel a breeze coming up!
