Hebi R. 2007-11-27 ch 13,	abuseSo as soon as she asked him to stay, he literally showered her with jewels. Unintentionally romantic on his part. I wonder what she thought of Hiei's tear-gems. Cracked gems are not sought-after, but some gems are valued despite or because of murkiness and flaws.
MiaHime 2007-11-11 ch 13,	abuseAw...the ending was soo sweet. But then again, Hiei was different. I couldn't imagine him being sentimental and soo deep. I especially couldn't imagine him "bursting into tears" it was different, but unique and strangely suitable. This story made both Botan and Hiei seemed more human...Botan's not saintly and Hiei's not absolutely heartless. I liked how brought the point across that no one is absolutely good or bad. Because this way, the characters are easier to relate to and more enjoyable to read about. Great Job!

Since you're not their maker(forgot his name even thogh I have twelve of the manga!) that automatically means that their out of character. Wow, I have never written a review this long. I have really enjoyed this story, and I am glad that Botan is considering Hiei. I have always thought they looked cute together. Well I have to go now I have class, but I wanted to put in this review before I left so I wouldn't forget. Oh, and my favorite scenes were the ones when Hiei was talking to himself in Botan's room when she was still unconcious. It was very revealing to have him talk like that. It was almsot humanizing. Again it was a great story you made everyone reactions believable and I felt like the characters developed. Well I will let you go now I am sure you have better things to do. Until next time, ja ne!
omasuoniwabanshi 2007-10-15 ch 13,	abuseI have to admit I put off reading this chapter because I just didn't want the story to be over. It's been a joy to read all the way through this (even while angsting over Botan's not realizing how Hiei felt about her). I love reading your stories. You can thank Skitzo-phrenick for selling me on Hiei/Botan as a couple, and for my obsession with finding decent stories featuring them. In short, I should be thanking you and not vice-versa! Good scene where Botan cries on the roof and Hiei guards over her while respecting her privacy. How like Botan to make a list when faced with a problem. It fit her knack for efficiency and organizational tendencies (though I'm not sure how 'precedent' fit on the negetive list!) That scene in the park with both so prickly and guarded, yet vulnerable at the same time was engrossing. It was like watching two wild animals circling each other for the first time, watching for weaknesses, wanting to touch noses but afraid of the consequences. The realism was great. You didn't have Botan immediately reciprocate just because Hiei says he loves her. I admire her for telling him that she feels selfish because she wants to be loved, even if she doesn't love back. It's honest at least. I'm glad Botan was wrong about a "stoic warrior princess" being the right woman for Hiei. Personally, I think a woman like that would only exacerbate Hiei's bad traits. He needs someone like Botan to bring light and joy to his otherwise broody existence. He needs him as well, as evidenced by the part where she bumps into the coffee table during that awkward interlude. Ending with a date rather than a clinch was surprisingly satisfying. After what both of them went through, it wouldn't make sense to shove them into a lemon scene, and besides, Hiei seemed happy with the slow courtship, no matter how 'frivilous'. It's further evidence of how he's changed. The old Hiei would've just taken what he wanted, but now he can contemplate dating without gagging simply because it's Botan's he's going out with. That's love for you, changes your perspective every time. It's also what made your story more realistic and believable than those that try to emulate bodice-ripper romance novels. Good job. I'm going to miss this now that it's over.

My only consolation in this world is that fact that you will writing more stories that I may enjoy in the near future! As always, your writing was absolutely beautiful! It's so powerful and lively and depressing and hope-giving and more! Really, it's a wonder that you don't have more reviewers - those meanies must be holding out! We'll hunt them down and demand that respect you deserve! MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Feel the power! Eh hm, anyway, I loved all the subleties that played such a huge part of this chapter, such as Botan's word challenges, they really draw you in to a very dramatic scene. Of course I'm not mad at you - my fix wouldn't get satieted if I was! lol And yes, I think you are a very friendly person, but I always have the problem of telling if someone actually wants to talk to me or not when it's over a computer and I don't know the person very well. My poor right brain, it must not be very well developed in the electronical emotions area. (Sorry, I'm taking AP Psych this year and it's starting to leak into my everyday life . . . ^-^U) I can't wait till you write more and I'm so happy that you will be! And I never said you weren't good enough for me, if anything, you're too good! lol Will you be my computerized life companion? :P I feel so silly, acquiring another mate of any sort. (And just saying that makes me feel even more silly, haha) Say, do you like Japanese music?

It still wasn't rushed -- a lot of authors tend to rush into their conclusion and that takes away from the story. The two of them on a picnic is an interesting thought. Very realistic the way you portrayed their interactions. It's sad that this fic is over. But it was great. I look forward to reading more of your work. -MoonlitSorrow
