It's not a bad ending. Sad yes. But you're not the happily ever after storywriter. Yours is probably more realistic than mine. I'd want them to be happy, for Willie to have a miracle and recover but that isn't how life always is.

LOL! Oh, my God, those beginning scenes were too great for words! And darn that Angelique! I think I read your old version, but I don't remember what happened... She'd better not break them up!

That was not a cop-out, at all! That was HOT! lol Loved the sexual tension and all that goodness... The parts with Carolyn are too funny.
