Very true to what Joey must have felt after the finale. Possibly the reason he left. Although for Joey, it's been more than ten years, he moved in with Chandler before Rachel came into the group.

I don't usually like Joey fics, but this was great. I feel so bad for Joey.

Oh, sad Joey!fic. Wah, I always thought that was what it must have felt like for Joey- he didn't get much closure. Of course, there was the Joey show, but I never watched it, so...I can't see Joey using the word burgeoning, but oh well. It was lovely.
