The thing that I love the most is the depth, the detailed background of events, where actions have consequences. You've done a wonderful job developing your characters from the canon team 7 to something uniquely your own. I also throughly enjoy the direction you're developing them in. Plus I like the thoroughly disrespected Kakashi, and the inclusion of Anko and Iruka on team 7's teaching roster. Looking forward to future developments.

Great idea :D As to your question, my siblings have been following Naruto for a while and my sister finally sat me down early this year and MADE me watch the first episode. I started watching the rest of the them but when I got to the fillers I gave up and switched over to the manga. I read the manga religiously every week but I only keep up with the anime when I feel like it.

HaruJam 2008-08-10 ch 17,	abusehey. i absolutely love your story. the plot is great and i love how you're exploring all the characters in depth. this is one of the few fan fics i've found in which sakura's brains are actually shown to be of use and she isn't portrayed as just some bitchy, weak fan girl. so yeah, good job. in regards to how i got into naruto: to be honest i've only read the first four volumes of manga and watched up to the beginning of the chuunin exams in the anime. i blame my friend for becoming so addicted to naruto fanfiction. i can't get enough of the stuff.

Kelly 2008-08-09 ch 17, anon.	abuseI barely remember how I got into the Naruto fandom now. I believe I saw the first Naruto episode on Cartoon Network. After that, my uncle and brother downloaded episodes and i watched the rest of them with subtitles. I stopped watching the anime during the fillers before Shipuuden. I've read some of the manga but I want to wait until it's finished before I finish. I got annoyed with some of the things that were happening in it so I decided to stop reading until I got the full story. That and I was tired of waiting for the next chapter. I hope that you'll update this story soon. I can't wait until you answer the questions you've been building up. Questions like Anko had to watch Naruto, why her and did Naruto recognize her. And what about Ibiki, how does he work into everything. Is there another reason for Naruto disliking Kotetsu and Izumo other than the Monster bit? I can't wait to read the next chapter and see what happens with the Kumo genin team.

SnickyPop 2008-07-28 ch 17,	abuseI am going to start off by responding to your worries about the few reviews you mentioned in some of your notes; the ones that mentioned people not liking the outfits. /They/ have not read some of the fics out there that have these twelve year olds dressing in bright orange trench coats, combat boots, and cargo pants. I will trade those for fishnet any day. Second! I love Sakura's history. Usually it's never the father left alive, and the fact that he's seriously social and Gai and Genma's sensei is hilarious. :) The puppy was a nice touch, too; but it needs more air time. Third: sometimes it seems like the character's personality is weak, like Anko. Sometimes she just doesn't seem 'Anko' enough. But as I read through the chapters, it seemed like her personality grew stronger through the writing and more Ankoisms showed through. Maybe weak wasn't the right word...I think I am probably just used to reading stories where Anko is darker, less sociable, and not quite sane. I think your Anko is growing on me though, she is most definitely friendlier; almost a comic relief. On the subject of comedy: I find this fic completely hilarious. The training island, the personalities, the way Kakashi and his students interact, everything. It's brilliant. Fourth. The interaction between Team Gai and Team Kakashi was great. Gai, Sasuke, and Naruto's meeting was a little weak, but the genin meeting and training the brats made up for it. That has to have been one of my favorite parts of this fic. :) Still wondering what the earings are for, and if Tsunade will be able to heal Naruto's issue, though...hm...I can't wait for the next update! Snake II will have to have some oro action in it, right? Or at least some kumo stuff...Naruto needs to beat that chick's arse... Well..yeah. There's my insanely long review. Durandal II 2008-07-27 ch 18,	abuseNow that I've gone through the entire thing so far, I have one thing to say. Epic. That's what this is. The characterization is excellent. I was somewhat surprised. Lee surprised me however, but not in a bad way. Also, I think you should try to give the other teams and their Jonin a little more of the spotlight. They've been almost non-existent. The way this is written in general is also very good. It makes me feel like I'm reading an actual novel. There is almost nothing I can say that's negative. The negative thing being that I don't think your progressing the storyline quickly enough. On the flip side, the way this is written makes the story seem shorter then it actually is. Either way it's your story. Now, I won't lie when I say that I'm hoping for Anko/Naruto. I know I'm probably getting my hopes up, but do you think you just tell me straight up, yes or no? No worries if you can't.

I would really like to know the paring, but to tell the truth I don't really care about the paring as long as its not yaoi(spelling?). You're not going to turn this into yaoi are you? Please oh please there is too much yaoi in the Naruto section. Well my wining aside, I've been reading this the past few days and I don't know if you said anything about it or not, but is Naruto's dream still to be Hokage? I can't wait till the next chapter. Once again this is brilliant. Oh and to answer your question I came into Naruto through cartoon network, but I don't watch it anymore. I found out that the manga is father along so I just caught up, and read the latest chapters when they come out. -justanotherguyathiscomputer

However, I have also read the whole manga, and I like it much more than the anime. The anime is just annoying. This chapter was surprisingly short, and I can't believe they didn't go see the doctor!! This'll cause some serious crap, I can see it now... Can't wait for the next update next month!!
