WitchVela 2009-10-31 . chapter 22snape is a TOTAL git. i can't stand him. i hated it that he forced veritaserum on harry. though the end with harry winning a small battle was nice. |
WitchVela 2009-10-31 . chapter 21ah, i have a theorie now. so connor isn't the real boy-who-lived, but has a life debt to harry. i keep looking forward to the next chapter and story. |
WitchVela 2009-10-31 . chapter 20connor is just stupid. i really don't like him so far. and i am glad that for once harry let's himself be angry with his twin. |
WitchVela 2009-10-31 . chapter 19connor is - in his innocence - totally biased. and in this chapter harry finally sees it a little bit, because it concerns him directly. hopefully he'll soon recognize that by staying silent when connor is prejudiced, he only encourages his brother to become it even more. |
WitchVela 2009-10-31 . chapter 16i kind of like draco's mother in here - for now (i don't know what will happen with her, so i'll wait for an ultimate decision). |
 WitchVela 2009-10-31 . chapter 15draco is just cute. |
WitchVela 2009-10-31 . chapter 14poor draco. finally someone opened his eyes to the reality. it is kind of sad to see draco starting to lose his innocence - though it will be for the best. |
WitchVela 2009-10-31 . chapter 13ugh, i just can't stand snape in here. i like it that he wants to show everybody that harry is powerful and i like his dream of a slytherin hero BUT he only wants that for his own personal vendetta against the potters, and THAT fact just ** me off. if his motivation was purely for the benefit of harry, i wouldn't be so aggravated every time i read about him. (and he is one of my favorite characters in the hp-universe, but in here right now i can't stand him). well written. good character-portrayals. |
WitchVela 2009-10-31 . chapter 12i like this story so far and had to stop by this chapter to comment. draco's letters are totally funny. you portray him very well. good work. |
simplicity401 2009-10-31 . chapter 12I absolutely adore the way Draco signs his letters. It makes me smile. :) |
Rook 2009-10-20 . chapter 22 Simply amazing. I have read other Slytherin!Harry stories, but far too often they merely rephrase the original text and shove a still very Gryffindor Harry among the snakes. I love that there was plenty of new material, and, also, that the original plot had a twist to it to keep it fresh. My favorite part had to be the Christmas at Malfoy Manor and the play of Pureblood traditions that it entailed.
I will admit, Harry's control and maturity bugged me. I know that it could be considered plausible when I consider the upbringing he had, but I would have like to see him struggle more against the harder tasks he came across (i.e. The Lestranges and Voldemort). He remained unflappable and mostly unscathed through both encounters, and it felt jarring to me. |
Rose Everett 2009-10-20 . chapter 22 I read your whole story without fail or hesitation or anything like reviewing every chapter that would have slowed me down. I plowed through and through every chapter, on the edge to see what might happen next in the story. I must say that I am deeply impressed by your vast creativity and knowledge to use those creative skills you have. I was also not disappointed, noticing that you have written this story about four years ago. I'm still extremely glad to come across this story and I look forward reading the sequel right after I submit this review. |
Ag Surfer 2009-10-12 . chapter 8I've just stumbled onto this series and it's extremely well written. I understand that the entire series is already completed, so my point is really moot, but, I'm surprised not to have seen the result of some correspondence between Harry and his parents by now.
What advice would James and Lily have given our young hero on learning that Harry had been basically forced onto the Slytherin Quidditch Team?
And for some reason, reading all this, I'm reminded more and more of "The Once and Future King". If you have any of your characters nickname Harry, "Wart" I'm going to faint!
Excellent writing. I can tell I will enjoy reading this a great deal. |
Negative Space Squint 2009-10-11 . chapter 22My friend told me about this series and she was absolutely right when she said it was awesome! I generally don't read anything but R/Hr fics, and I NEVER read AU, but I am in love with this series! Good job, and I can't wait to read the rest! |
Heidinanookie 2009-10-08 . chapter 22So... we still don't know if Harry's the boy who lived, after all. BUT he's finally coming to his senses, starting to think of himself, too. Snape is right, he aught to have his own life! And though the professor might not use the right methods to enforce them his ideas are the right ones - well, except maybe for the part where he just wants glory for Slytherine, selfish bastard!
