I don't think words can describe how much I love these two stories, and my words certainly cannot do justice. I think I've laughed, cried, and been moved more by this story than just about every other book I've read. The character development, the growth, certainly the irony, and the unexpected twists and turns made me sit on my ass for an entire week, plowing through both 'In Hiding' and 'On the Road'. I've reccomended it to my avid Lost fans of best friends. I know it would be a stretch, no matter how you look at it, but a short sequal or epilouge would be amazing.

You've seriously lifted my spirits since the series ended on that crappy note. This is so in character and believable that I feel that it would have made a nice addition to the show. Baby Ford would be the best hard-ass the world has ever known.

In short, this is probably my favorite Fanfiction ever. Simply amazing. I would love to read any other work of yours, if you would consider coming out of retirement.

Honestly after the massive dissapointment the finale was, your stories are the one thing that stops me being so upset! Genuinley the only thing I can think, instead of "it's not fair they didn't choose skate" is thank god, skate COULD have had such an incredible journey as this. Jate and Suliet could NEVER have a journey like this. As amazing as this, because they just aren't... good enough. Sawyer and Kate could have had such a future, and even if the writers decided to go for the subrban ending couples ;) We all know that they could never have lived up to what Skate could have. And this story? Well, I can just pretend that it's the show. It's one hundred times magnified, it's amazing. Like other people said, I have no idea if you still check this story, but... just wow. I've read In hiding and On the road, for about 2 years (I read the chapters sort of out of order...! and then came back and read it again, and pop back every here and there) and along with the show, I actually think it changed my outlook on a couple of things in my life! I'm not a fanfiction reader, or writer, or into the whole "fandom" thing, but this was just so beautiful, a real work of art. It's been 3 years since you updated, and you haven't done any new stories, but... I still kind of hope you will! After the finale, if you even still watch the show,, a think a lot of people might need it! Thankyou )

It's been ages since I read In Hiding and On the Road for the first time, but when I was watching LOST on Tuesday, I randomly thought of both of them. So, needless to say, I reread all 80 chapters and stayed up way too late doing so.

And, while reading, I was - once again - blown away by how absolutely perfect your characterization of both Kate and Sawyer is. Their dialogue is always spot-on, when they're bantering and during the more serious moments. The plots of IN and OTR managed to surprise me, even though I knew how the story ultimately ended, and I was completely lost in the story once more.

Anyway, I have no idea if you still check the site or anything, but I just wanted to tell you that your stories are some of my favorite out of any fandom. I hope you've continued writing, even if it's not Skate, because you have such a gift that it would be a shame to let it go to waste!

(And, if you ever had the random inspiration to write a third part, I'd definitely read it! I've always been curious to see what they would have named the baby!)

I've read this story and In Hiding all the way through about half a dozen times, but I randomly read a chapter hear and there when I desperately need a skate fix or just a smile on my face. This chapter in particular I usually skip (along with the few before it and after) because some parts are so heartbreaking I can't bear to read them. I usually go from their chapter together at the ranger's cabin to the one where they are reunited (I know that's cheating!). But yesterday, I clicked on this chapter and couldn't remember it, so I read on. The part where he pulled out Kate's 4-H prize, and afterward when he realized he couldn't make it without her, a few tears escaped, and I am not a crier. It was so well written and I just felt all the pain he went through at the bar, it was very intense. I just wanted to say thanks for writing this piece, and like many I'm still hopeful for an eventual third story (if you would be so kind!) Thanks again!

You have brought humour and raw emotion into the story which is not only well written but believable. I think that you are a supurb writer and you should be extremly proud of what you have accomplished. PLEASE, please do a sequal to this story. Thankyou for writing this as it is AMAZING. :D

your stories are so REAL! every single word out of kate and sawyer's mouths i can see them saying. and i im always laughing! my family looks at me like ive lost my mind:)

and the ending was absolutely beautiful! with all the stuff going on with the show right now, the stupid drama! (even though i love it), its nice to read your stories and get to smile about a happy ending.

and if youre still writing Lost, i would completely LOVE to see and third addition to your series!

You write so well, and the whole time I read this and In Hiding, I didn't want to stop. The final chapter was also really good; it brought pretty much everything to a little wrap-up, and it even had a happy ending.

I hope you do a third installment - I'd love to know what happens next to Sawyer and Kate. :)
