Wow, not bad that one even if it's short.

It's short and simple but emotionally and thought-provoking. I actually haven't thought of the Kaien-Ichigo thing that way, simply took it as a coincidence or something inevitable. I really like your story, I wonder if there's a continuation to this. If none, this stands strong on its own.

Good story. I agree with you on the reincarnation cycle theory. Of course, you have to wonder how long ago it was Kaien died. It was definetely a few years ago but how many? It's been a while since I saw this arc so I can't remember if they said. Once again, good job. If this site had a rating system I'd give you five stars... or whatever the top rating would be.

I got the fuzzy feelings while reading this. It brought some warm and sweet moments with Ganjyu and Kuukaku's remembering about Kaien. Then there's this bittersweet feeling mixed inside... especially the ending. Great story.

I wonder if the manga will explore why Kaien and Ichigo look so alike...

I got chills reading this story! It's very nicely written, and I loved the closing line. Even though the resemblance is obvious, this is my first time seeing a fic based on the Shiba relationship with Ichigo.

Hmm, that's probably true... but Kaien died more than 50 years ago. So if he's to be reincarnated, he should be at least 40... not a 15 year old shinigami that has a kick ** swords and orange hair... and i don't even think his hair is nature!

Then again, i hope this isn't a one-shot ^^ And it better not be!
