It is always exciting to find something new on worth reading, and your story is stuffed to bursting with potential. I am very excited to move onto the next chapter.
Fascinating premise, well-written, and good characterisations.

liked your story so far (although a bit slow in the beginning imo) and hope to read more soon!

I liked it. Lupin seems very human and real in this chapter. I like how everyone doesn't seem infallible anymore, b/c that would be unbelievable. I still want to know what the deal was with Ginny, although I'm sure it will be a while. :) Well, it was good, and an easy read to get through.

I'm currently resisting the urge to squee aloud. Whether from anticipation for what's going to happen next, or the fact that this chapter was blissfully Remus-ful (it doesn't matter if it was also angst-ful: any chapter with Remus in it this much is blissful to me), I'm not quite sure. Like I've said in past reviews, this is essentially the best fanfic I've ever read. So good, in fact, that it's nearly impossible to tell that it actually is a fanfic. The characterizations are absolutely perfect, and the inner reflection/angst is flawless. It's not soap-opera 'I want to die' angst, but it is 'my life sucks royal' angst. Perfect for the story, in my opinion. Canonically, the two characters who reflect inwardly in this chapter (Harry and Remus) _do_ have sucky lives. Harry perhaps a bit more concentrated, but Remus certainly for longer. Remus' slightly lupine fury (when his thoughts travel in a certain direction) is certainly justified and assuredly in character.
Bravo! This chapter is equal to the rest in quality, if not slightly better in my (slightly biased) opinion. I look forward to the next one, and I'll try to catch the update next time. ^^
Arrivederci!

Well, if it is a pensieve memory... I should hope he would recognize it, after all he spent the better part of the last year viewing and discussing them with Dumbles... not to mention getting one from slugshorn.

The only other silver substance I can think of would be unicorn blood... hm very mysterious if that is the case. I hope that you will be able to update sooner than before because I still find your story incredible.

Chapter one (or the prologue as I should say) was excellent, with absorbing dialogue and witty descriptions. This chapter had the witty descriptions, but was action-packed and made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. When Voldie got inside Harry's mind, I felt like it was *my* deepest secrets being sucked out of my head. I could *feel* the conflict in Harry's heart when he was deciding whether to take Wormtail prisoner or save his Muggle relatives. I was scared, my heart racing, when the Death Eaters came into it. Thanks to your eloquent literary genius, I was able to get *inside* the mind of Harry Potter and in essence *become* the Boy-Who-Lived. I still remained partially myself, of course, because when Remus is heard, followed by Fenrir, I got a sinking feeling in my gut, and was thinking "If you kill Remus, so help me God..."
Your action scenes scream "empathic writing," which is the style where you not only suck your reader into the story, but you put them into a character's shoes and make it seem like they *are* that character. You're the first person to pull it off so geniusly as you do. I haven't even read book 5 in a while, but I felt myself roiling with anger when Bellatrix Black-Lestrange showed her face.
Both chapters were excellent, perfect, absolute genius, each in their own ways. I can't rightly decide if one is better than the other, because they're both so perfect. But then again, everything you write *is* perfect. I love to read your work, because it's like communing with some...literary *god*, and when I leave these reviews, I feel as though I worshipped at the altar of an almighty being whose might and genius I can never hope to equal.
I look forward to reading the next chapter, when it's posted, and this story is on my alerts and faves lists. I absolutely cannot wait to read your next piece of literary mastery, and see just how this oh-so-intriguing plot unfolds.
I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding when Remus reappears near the end (don't laugh, I think he's an awesome character). Oh, and I thought that Harry's rescue was hilarious. I couldn't resist the urge to squeal "Whee!" when he went flying between Voldie's legs. Ah, the refreshing spur-of-the-moment "Accio Harry!".
I'll be waiting with bated breath until the next chapter of this story is out, rest assured. So please hurry!!
Until next time,
Sayonara!

Well, you've outdone yourself yet again. How you manage to get better and better seemingly with every paragraph, nee *sentence*, is absolutely beyond me. Absolutely captivating. Twelve thumbs up (because doesn't everyone have 12 thumbs?). I was so enraptured by this story and its possibilities that I missed dinner. So Harry is blind, eh? Curiouser and curiouser. Wonder why that is. Oh, and magicless as well. Or practically so. He's adapted well at least.
And Persephone. Ah, Persephone, named after the wife of Hades and daughter of Demeter who was cursed to live with her husband six months out of the year, and her mother for the other six. An excellent naming choice, though it makes me wonder if there's any special significance.
Well, if I know you, the next chapter will be even better than this one, and that's saying quite a lot. You are an authoring enigma, and the greatest literary genius I've ever met. This story is just as engrossing as your others (of the two that I've read), and made even more so by the fact that it's multi-chaptered! I can't wait to skip off after submitting this review, to read the next chapter. Well, with nothing more to say for now, I think I'll just hop in my time machine and get set for a thrilling trip to the past! ^^
Au Revoir until next chapter!

Great chapter. The action was awesome and Harry's reactions true to character. Especially his quick rescue attempt chosen over revenge.

Hurry and post more soon.

Excellent start. I like stories that start somewhere other than the beginning as they add a bit of promise to the tale. Your Harry and Snape characterizations are spot on and I look forward to reading just what happened to Harry to create the man we see today.
