Again, you gave to each character a role which he could narrate beautifully. Giving a section to Gojyo after 'mother' was uttered was brilliant. Saying Hakkai knew best about suicide was well balanced. Everything fits so very, very well.

Your descriptions were just enough to convey the speed of the action, but never over done to the point where they seemed to take longer than the crumbling rocks or falling Goku. Great story. Also, the way you write Sanzo is perfect - a great balance of bitterness and concern.

This is a really exiting story, and I can't wait to read more! It's also a fantastic concept - his Mother Earth wanting him back.

Wow, I loved this fanfiction so much, it's a little hard to put into words why exactly I loved it so much, but I did, and I'll try my best to convey why.

It just captures the feeling and essence of Saiyuki to perfection. I can seriously just picture this being some future movie for the series... honestly. Your characterization was perfect, taking advantage of all the attributes and personalities in each character. And well, I really hope you write some more fanfictions like this one.

Minekura was wise enough to create lovable characters without a lover for them, and with good reason, too. She left it completely ambiguous, allowing ALL to enjoy it and express their fandom very creatively and uniquely. Although I love most of your work, I definitely enjoyed this piece more than the rest. Saiyuki fanfiction just seems better when there are no pairings - it holds true to the series more, I think.

Being able to work within those boundaries set by the original author is tough work. I doubt that I could ever do it myself, but I can see it, and I can see the talent in your writing.

Yes, I am a Goku fan (as if my "name" wasn't enough of a hint), but that only got me to be interested in it originally. You should be very proud of your writing, to the point where even if it was about another character it still would have captured my increased curiosity of where the plot was going and all of the questions that needed to be answered.

In short: this fanfiction is awesome, now go write more.

Wow this was really well written! I am impressed so much. It really held my attention and made me want to know what was going to happen next. It also made so much sense and kept them all in charcter. All the emotions were so real and it felt as if it was all really happening as I read it and I was on the edge of my seat literally. I really like this and hope there will be a sequel. There seem to be some unfinished things at the very end. I mean will he really go back to her after they get rid of the big bad guy? ::I would write his name, but I can't spell it and it would just show my ignorance:: It would be interesting to know that! I mean even just a oneshot saying what he does would be most appreciated. I can't imagine the others would be very happy to hear that he promised to go back. Did Sanzo hear him say that?
