Hmm, appropriately creepy. Don't ask why, but I had "Pushing Forward Back" by Temple of the Dog in my head as I read this. A less-than-a-minute clip of the song, since it was a short story, but I still had it in my head. Heheheh. Just... weird.

This was very nicely written, and I can't say much more because of my total lack of FFVII knowledge, other than having watched Advent Children . . . anyway, I really like the imagery you use :)
