Hey. I like this story, not as much as Kame, but I did really like it. I hope you can write more on Kame soon, but you live in Houston? Ouch. I feel sorry for you. Ever heard of Hempstead? It's like 40 miles from there between Houston and Austin. My grandma has a house there and we haven't gone to see the damage yet. Lucky me, I've been in Austin during the time Rita was supposed to hit. I got to endure (and still am darn it!) triple digit weather! I hope our AC doesn't brake. Well, I hope you're ok and your house wasn't too damaged. I know I'm straying from the point of my review, namely to tell you that I thought this story was good, but I am concerned and TRYING (keyword there) to make you laugh in the midst of what could be a trajedy. Oh, one more funny thing before I tell you that I really thought your story was good (again) and go. Did you hear about the crazy Austin ladies that came to blows over the last jug of water? Everyone else hads grabbed the water as it came in off the truck (panicking for no reason...er well, little reason) and they were going at it for the last one AFTER the time Rita should have been here/ passed. *rolls eyes* They say they want to "Keep Austin Weird" but if that's the only thing bringing people here, that doesn't say much for the city. Er, well it DOES say something, just nothing good. Well, I hope you can get a laugh out of this, and if you could tell me the general damage of Houston, that would help me with what our house might look like. Again (for the 3rd, 4th, or even 5th time) I really liked this for SUCH a short story and I hope to see more done on Kame soon! Later.
