Don't take me wrong, is just that things resolve way too easy, there is no significant deaths (Baltar was almost a joke), all the mysteries in BSG are explained waay too easy, breaking up the mystique of the show. At least they had something of that in B5 with the episode "Night of the Dead". You put the characters of Galactica in too much central places of power and get rid of the "baddies" as in a '30 pulp (yeah, that bad). In BSG they're vital because they are THE ONLY REMANENTS OF HUMAN LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE! In your fanfic you could have them replaced by a multi-ethnic, multi-species cast, but no, you had to make them as indestructible as Kimball Kennison or Jim Bolivar DiGriz. In other words you've ruined Galactica for me. Hope you can life wiht that |
