So, that's how Raines gained Catherines trust! Makes perfect sense. Loved that you portrayed Mr. Parker as the bad guy - sneaky and violent - as opposed to the way he is usually portrayed (a spineless puppet of the Triumvirate). Nice job.

Well, it's been a while since I've read anything Pretender, let alone leave someone a review. I haven't felt obligated to say something, until now. =)

To be honest, I haven't read too many takes on what really happened to Catherine, so I throughly enjoyed this! I'm pleased to see a take on Mr. Parker being portrayed as the wretched person he truly is. It's quite funny to see Mr. Raines being the anti-hero, if you will, only in the end to see him pulling out another syringe for Miss Parker. Nice character dynamic.
