Very very sad, made me cry at some point (i.e. anything with remus in it). Interesting how you wrote from 2nd person, not many people can do that and still forge and emotional bond with the reader. So, overall, well done.

This was such a wonderful story (like Prelude was), and it was written so well, with characters that I actually cared about. It was so honest and real that I wanted to cry and the somber tone and the events that had taken place even though all HP fans know that Lily and James die in the end. I'm going to go and read Backfire, but I wish you would do something with these characters again even though you might have run out of material. All of your characters I fell in love with (both canon and not) and I would really enjoy reading something about them again. Great job and keep writing.
