I really liked the way that you pulled in bits from the show, such as the book that Christie was reading, and wove them into the story. Although I had read other fics incorporating the idea that an argument over Anne had occured immediately before the shooting, I had not thought about that being the last image of Christie that Jim had in his mind. Great job. Hope to see more.
