Horrible. You make Squall an emotionally unavailable ass with commitment issues and Rinoa is a shallow, fallback plan type with too little self respect to let the guy do the chasing. You need to learn about real love before spouting this nonsense. This story also serves to illustrate what NOT to do if you're a girl in the relationship. DON'T chase the guy and DON'T have sex before he's proven his commitment through marriage. I don't know how the rest plays out, because I've only gotten to chapter 2 and haven't the time to waste on the rest of this drivel. I can't stomach a tale about a desperate girl who pursues a guy. NO guy is so special that a girl should throw her self respect and dignity away for. As for "awkward" silences - those exist when a guy is not interested enough to make conversation. It's stupid to excuse a guy's failure to engage a girl. No matter what you think, it's due to lack of interest. I've written this review for the young and naive girls who will read this and think it's romantic. It's not. Listen children, let the man pursue you. If you're looking for marriage, you'll never get it this way. Preserve your virginity until after the vows and he'll be more likely to stick around. These stupid sentiments of getting bored and growing apart described in the story are the results a girl gets when she gives a guy what should be saved for marriage. Only shallow and self serving people have no clue how to stay in love with their chosen one. Trust should not be a charity hand out to some pathetic jerk who's incapable of faithfulness, it should be earned by someone who is respectful and undoubtedly interested.

Short and sweet. I really liked it even if I wished the final reunion was longer :)

Really great job with this. I say you deserve the summary "must read for Squinoa fans" truly awesome and while I wish that Squall could have been assed enough to go get Rinoa I must say your turn of events seems much more likely. Glad that Rinoa after all those years still pretty much remained the same. Satisfied after reading this... Nice touch with the aura and Zell being the next Irvine. LOL!

You seem like you want to make a small follow-up to this story.

I have an idea: Make a shower scene fanfic between Squall and Rinoa, to extend the shower scene from Chapter 1!

I know, it would only be fluff, like you said, but it would be interesting, and even if you don't link it directly to Lost and Found (director's cut scene? lol), it would still be a cool idea.

Great story! I like how you actually used ingame references like the names of the places in Dollet, the mangina from the pub (LOL on pairing "her" up with Zell for a while there x_X), and the battles with the Anacondaurs! I also love how more mature and understanding Squall is and how far him and Rinoa went in their relationship in the flashbacks (which turned into some pretty nice lemon, although I wouldn't have minded the shower scene to be longer)... This is perhaps my favorite FF8 fanfic!

This fanfic isn't exactly the biggest story around, of course, but you used so many emotions and personal PoV's of Squall's and Rinoa's, and only stuck to the initial characters (Squall, Rinoa, and Zell), as well as including an unsettling love triagle, to have made this story seem like a book.

i'm not all that much into fluff but i really did like this story. very cute. i like how zell's character is pretty loyal to the one in the game though his priorities have obviously changed. you were also very loyal to squall's character as well. very cute, very, very cute.

i'm going to make this quick as possible due to the impending doom of work. it's sad how bitter-sweet things can get between two people in a relationship, even if it's the grand squall and always wonderful rinny. anywho, i hope to be able to finish this fic soon and it's quite interesting thus far, especially the squall's 'so horny' remark. most hilarious.
