This is wonderfully written. When Rachel didn't answer and Chandler used the analogy of eating and reading, it all clicked together in desperately sad way. The ending left me with the feeling that nothing ever would happen between them yet an idea of how well they would fit.
It was perfectly understated.

make them get together and update

I wrote a fic that mentioned Ross's allergy to lobster! Damn! You don't know it, but this is like the third time you've beaten me to an idea. Oh, well. Sweet. If there weren't 'Lobsters' or 'Mondler', I'd be rooting for 'Randler'. *hint,hint* Don't steal my next idea!
