Wow, I am not sure what I was expecting when I began reading this, but this wasn't it and I am glad. This story had an evenings encounter that had so many wonderful little touches that made a wonderful scene. Based on the stories I've read today, I believe you are really a talented writer. I am delighted by the delicacy and yet richness with which you painted the scene, by the characters you created, and just the whole piece. Martha Kane's character, and the revelation that she's pregnant (presumably with Bruce) really shine through.

This is a great original story. I actually hadn't thought about Bruce and Clark's moms both having the same name. You write well, the story flowed smoothly and was interesting. I'd be interested in reading a sequel...maybe about two little boys :-)
