I especially like the detail you put into Soubi's unconscious actions. Brushing the leaves out of Seimei's hair, asking questions he did not know the meaning to or why he wanted to ask them. This is a good way to think of how Fighters and Sacrifices feel before they come to realize what they are. Good work.

I am in danger of favoriting everything of yours. And I do have to admit that I cried here, even though I'm sure it wasn't your intent. I'm a fairly diehard Kio-and-Soubi fan, but this I think was your best piece that I've read (I just haven't reviewed them yet). The instant attraction, the denial and confusion, the gentle -mutual- moments, and of course, all the little details (#72, that annoying blood) and words/meanings unspoken make this quite a little masterpiece. Very insightful and plausible.

I'm all soppy and melty now. They're so darned sweet together. I love the young Soubi, pre Ritsu. He's so much more innocent. You can still see glimpses of his later self, but the more positive aspects. Thank goodness for C2 groups or I never would have found this beautiful story.

Aw, that's sweet. I really liked it when he said 'Maybe he was getting schizophrenia for his birthday'. I loved how the whole story was sorta in Soubi's view, but that added just a hint of spice that made Soubi seem less...well...like he is in the show and stuff.
