Reviews for Succumb
Dawns Heart 2/19/09 . chapter 25
I loved this story. Frquently House/Cameron stories seem so cliche but this... wasn't. It was well written and a good idea. Brooklyn is a little more ideal than most kids I've met, nevetheless I do know another kid who's pretty well behaved so she's not outside the realm of believable.

And I'm a sucker for happy endings.

I'm not normally a reader of "House" fic, but this was recommended on a community, and I thought I'd give it a try. I really, really enjoyed it. I love that you kept the story simplistic enough to let the characters breathe on their own. Lovely work!

Love it. Hope there a sequel..
TrapperII 10/29/08 . chapter 18
Another lovely chapter. This was a nice insight: "She knew he was insecure. It was something her younger self had failed to grasp, but she knew now he guarded his heart out of caution, not coldness." And when House deflates at the end ... *sigh*
TrapperII 10/29/08 . chapter 15
Yay! He has his team back. Finally!
TrapperII 10/29/08 . chapter 12
Well ... I'm sure you've gotten a MILLION reviews for this chapter, and all of them are well deserved. The way you wrote their confrontation was spot on. This was my favorite line: "Oh, what are you going to do, kick me in the nads?" I could hear him saying it. Actually, I could hear them saying the entire thing. And the kiss at the end was fabulous :)
TrapperII 10/29/08 . chapter 10
I really enjoyed this chapter. Their conversation was very in-character and believable, and you also portrayed Cameron's added maturity and strength well too. I like House's reaction to the daughter too. It's a believable way of having him approach a little kid.

Gah. This was just- It was perfect. Exactly what I was looking for, and House was his usual snarky self. I could just imagine him and Wilson saying what you wrote. Though I must admit I was kind of hoping that Cameron had his daughter, at the same time, I really like the way you didn't chose that particular option, since somehow, it makes their relationship more natural. I don't really see how settling down and having kids, but falling in love with Cameron, and liking her kid, was just.. it fit. God, I'm just spiraling further into getting addicted to this show..

Lovely story, even though the sappiness was this close to killing me. xD

goathland1 8/22/08 . chapter 11
“Hey, if I could pick anyone for Cam, it probably wouldn’t be you. Actually, it definitely wouldn’t be you. But for some reason she’s still around, even after all this time, and she still likes you. Think about it.”

Go Foreman.
goathland1 8/22/08 . chapter 10
Don’t be scared of that droopy thing on his head, that’s just what he likes to call a haircut

LOL!
goathland1 8/22/08 . chapter 9
“Hey, hey! Not the magic eight ball! I’ll be mopping little girl brains off the floor for months. Your mother probably wouldn’t even pay for the cleaning expenses.”

LOL!
goathland1 8/22/08 . chapter 8
“I’m saying… that House is going to have to go if he doesn’t improve”

Poor House
goathland1 8/22/08 . chapter 7
Their reactions to Brooklyn, on the other hand, varied considerably. Hudson was shocked, while Chase appeared slightly awkward, a by-product of his own less-than-nurturing childhood, she was sure. Foreman, unsurprisingly, was the complete opposite, perfectly comfortable to give Brooklyn a few minutes of attention. And House… House was quiet and withdrawn, and had evidently decided his way of handling the situation was to ignore her all together, shifting any verbal blame onto Dr. Cuddy, because Cuddy was a universal target for all of his problems.

I love this part.
