Thanks for writing such a wonderful story. There are many James and Lily love stories, but yours is the best I've read. Your characterization of both characters was terrific. So many authors write Lily as mean and spiteful and James as too irresponsible for Head Boy. You had the perfect mix of good and bad as well as thoughtful maturity. Great job!

I really enjoyed this story. I liked the sad parts, but once James' parents got sick, I got a bit overwhelmed by all the angst and some cheesiness. If you're ever revising this fic, try to take out some of the contemplative parts that are overly emotional, to make room for some more silliness, as is the normal activity of the Marauders (yes, I know they're sad, but they can't be serious forever.)
Anyway, keep writing!
