I like the story's feeling. The fireplace, the cover, the chill outside, etc...they all added to the dialogue in a very important way! Nice job!

This was palpably warm/fuzzy! loved it. you were especially dead-on with Syd's dialogue, but you captured the different brands of lonesomeness both characters feel. write more pretender stories please!
