Two years down the timeline from the last update, is there any chance of more chapters on this story? You write such marvelously complex and emotional work, and I'd dearly love to find out what happens to the characters. Leaving Anakin being biologically warped into a food source with the high probability of a drug addiction to try and finish the work of breaking him into a resistance-free... pawn's not the right word but I'm blanking on what the correct descriptive noun is this morning. This is one Hell of a cliffhanger to leave the story on (good work), but it would be nice to get the rest of the story. I already know that if this story is ever finished I'll be converting it to ebook for rereading on my ebook reader/PDA. This is actually the second time I've read this story, but I'm quite the lazy reviewer. I'm not good with words and always figure someone else must have given far better praise than I could manage. Nevertheless I just have to tell you how much I love this story. What I actually like most about it is that it isn't shippy. Usually stories about this timeframe are either Ani/Obi slash or some really angsty forbidden Padme love. It's actually nice to read something less dramatic(and less predictable) for once.
I love ObiWan, you've made him so much more human and likeable than in canon and yet you've kept his core values and personality intact. Same with Anakin, he's just as hot-headed and arrogant as in the movies but also likeable and easy to relate to.
Yoda leaving the Order is so original! Wonder what he's up to now.
What I don't like though is that you seem to introduce the "ObiWan is really the Chosen One" plot. I've always felt that ObiWan has more than enough qualities already. His humility, his kindness, his diplomatic and fighting abilities all contribute to making him an amazing Jedi already. Whenever some author makes him into the Chosen One, I feel like they're almost debasing his character, like he isn't special enough just as he is. Besides explanations as to why Anakin isn't the CO are always somewhat unbelievable. But I'll shut up now, since I'm actually only assuming this might be your plot.
I hope you havn't given up this story, it's too good to be abandoned. please update!

This chapter ended on such an ominous note and no light in sight.
What will Master Yoda and all those others who left the Jedi Order do? Will they all go their own way or form an organisation? Will Qui-Gon succeed in convincing Dooku? So many questions and so few answers. I'm looking forward to finding out what happens to Anakin!

Just found your story and spent the evening reading through... and then there was no more :(. I love it! It is different and very intriguing. I love your portrayal of Obi-wan and Anakin's relationship, and also the turn of events of Attack of the Clones.I hope next chapter explains how Shmi sort of recognized Obi-wan. Also can't wait to see what's happening with Anakin. All I have to say beyond that is keep up the great work! Update Soon!

You should have way more reviews than you do now, this story is utterly brilliant. I love it. Your writing is so smooth and clear and vivid, it doesn't interrupt at all. It reminds me of a quote I've always liked (paraphrased): "The best writing does's sound like writing at all."

Also, your characters are wonderful and fully realized, they're all so complex and their motivations all make sense. Every character fits within the story and even though I have to admit I like Mace, I can't argue with his decision because of how well you portrayed your view of him. All of your characters are very strong that way. And your plot is brilliant, I can't wait till your next update. It's a character driven action thriller! ;)
