JackieStarSister 12/29/11 . chapter 1This is good, almost like a poem. A guy in a video we watched at CCD mentioned The Truman Show, and said it was about searching for and finding the truth. You seem to have hit upon that here. You also covered a universal topic, something almost everyone can relate to - having to leave home behind, go out and face the world for what it is. Good job. |
Morgenstern 3/27/07 . chapter 1 Great story! |
EchosquadSRG 2/11/06 . chapter 1For as short as that was, its well worth the read. NIce take on what's going through Truman's mind as he leaves. |
tasluke 11/7/05 . chapter 1I'm glad someone finally put into words what we were all thinking. |
The Pineapple 10/28/05 . chapter 1Nice job. It's deep, and it defines the way you'd think he felt. Good job. |
Ellethiel 10/25/05 . chapter 1 I enjoyed this vignette of yours. It is nice to read this because one could have wondered what Truman was thinking. I liked how you worded such things as "unscripted silence" heh, to say is kind of deep, don't know if that works for it. but oh well. and also that you have Truman think about the director as god and realize that pain perhaps, in finding out that his friends and neighbors were only actors. |
