Lovely. There aren't nearly enough Brass stories out there. A retired Bomb Squad Sergeant I once knew used to say that he should have become a plumber. Very good work.

Excellent! I made up the lines and couldn't avoid either lurid and obscene things or GSR, so you managed a lot better than I did :) Love the Brass/Grissom introspection, too.

Very...unique, but I really do like this story, it rules in an odd and...well odd way. LOL

I loved it. Very believable and can just see Brass and Grissom having a conversation like that.

Nice story. I like the conversation between Brass and Grissom, even though Brass never got a straight answer. I think you nailed Grissom's reasons perfectly.

Although I'm disappointed that you PURPOSELY avoided making this a GSR fic (ha ha ha), I'm still happy to report that it was a good story anyhow.

The heart-to heart at the diner was completely in character for both, and the conversation had good flow.
