Rowan: God, I love Buddyshipping. It's the purest kind of love, next to that "of one dead drunk for another". (That's just a quote from the poem "Love" by...anonymous, I think.) Actually, the whole "moron" thing really reminded me of that line. Both last lines (of the poem and of this story) are what make them, because they are both so...spectacularly funny. And for this story, it provides a wonderful mental image.

I've actually read this story a long time ago, I think. I'm glad I didn't review then, because I get to read it a second time.

I love the urban setting and casual way you characterize. The plot was fast moving but not abrupt. It also reminds me of the few good fanfics I used to read.

And a wonderful addition to an ignored pairing.

A story that left me with a grin and a general 'feel-good'-feeling, stammering as that last may sound. I especially loved the way you wrote their interaction (as best buddies, and more) and the way you set the mood for the scene. A highly enjoyable reading-snack. ^-^
