So, I just found this story and I have to say, it's one of my favorites.
I guess I'm sort of a little late on reading it but I'm still glad I found it and gave it a chance.
Both 'Life: Trust and Growth' and its sequel have been added to my favorites list.
I love the emotion you put into this story and how it eventually turned out. Most stories don't have good ends or they're rushed and I think you did a wonderful job with this.
I've been looking for a different Four Brothers type fic and this is definitely different, in a very good way.
Again, a very wonderful story and very beautifully written.

I just read this story and it's prequal. i honestly and completely think that you should do another sequal about Gracie and her growing up. i think it would be so cool o see her at like, 16 or so and Bobby trying to cope with her having boyfriends! that would be so cool!
anyway, u don't hae to. i just wanted to throw the idea our there because that would be an awesome story.

Mwahahahhahahahaha! Awesome chapter! I love it! I'm so happy that Bobby and Rose got married! How sweet! I don't really care that Angel and Sofi got married... they were on top of each other half the time anyways... *says in a sing-songy voice* Gracie's got a boyfriend! He seems really nice though! I like him! Perfect kinda guy for Gracie.. somebody whom she can push around... but hell, she's a Mercer, and Bobby and Rose's kid at that! She can push anybody around!
Jack and Evelyn showing up was absolutely perfect! I'm so happy that Grace decided to take his songs and sing them herself! Priceless. I'd buy that CD in half a heartbeat. And I'd cherish it forever!
They had twin boys! More souls for Bobby to corrupt! With the help of Gracie, of course... he new life project... eh heh... that and corrupting her little niece... well, nieces, as she was probably kind of an influence on Daniella and Amelia as well.
Sarah up and moved to Hawaii? Awesome! That's great for her! She's a great person though. Not as great as Evelyn, but hey, nobody can be! And Jerry's kids growing up to be intellectual... never doubted it! With Cami for a mother and Jer for a dad, nothing else could've come.
I hope you decide to write another Four Brothers story, cause this one was great! And of course, Take It Home was awesome too!
Sorry it took me so long to reply! My comp was being an ass and wouldn't let me do anything with the internet... ever since Thursday! I had like, 20 chapter updates from random people when I got back. But hey, I got to you! And your best friend's name is Lauren? Holy shit! That's mine too! 'Cept I'm only 15... ah well.
I can't believe that Angel got put in the hospital! That's so evil! I love Angel, I nevah want anything bad to happen to him... or Bobby, Jack, and Jerry either, for that matter! I'm happy he survived! I thought for a second you were actually gonna kill him. That really would've sucked!
Man, Gracie has no fear, does she? Even in the face of danger she's got Bobby's mouth on her. But I guess she's 100% Mercer then, isn't she? I half expected, when Bobby showed up, that she's hit him and yell at him for being late... /That/ would've been priceless.
Big Sexy sounds so cool! Wish we could've seen more of him! But I suppose he served his purpose. As long as Gracie's safe and Rosie's safe and the Mercer boys are safe, it's all good.
Can't wait for the next episode! I swear to god, because of your Four Brothers fics I'll love you forever. And I hope I'll remain your greatest inspiration!

This was a good story. I love the movie and I liked how you kept up with the seeing ghosts deal like in the film. Are you going to do another Four Brothers fanfic?
haha, Gracie's got attitude! Damn good of her to stick up for her family! Any other Mercer would have done it. And that teacher is suck a bitch! Dissing loving Evie, and sweet li'l Jackie, and military-man Angel, and business/familyman Jer, and Bobby! There's not enough good words to describe Bobby! Therefore, my conclusion - that teacher should burn in hell! I completely agree with what Gracie said! All the power to her! Eh heh, Bobby completely shares her opinion... like father, exactly like daughter, I guess. Same attitude, same conclusion. Same love for the family. Gotta love both of them for it.
The hockey game was awesome! Better than I expected! And I expect very good work from you, keep that in mind, alrighty? It was so cool! Too bad he was beating her, though... guess he won... Oh! Her trick was awesome. Too bad she didn't have her camera this time! Woulda been awesome. The little makeout scene was very well done, great job Avs! And yay, Bobby's a DADDY! CUTE!
Oh no, Gracie! Who took her? What have they done to her? Bobby and Rosie're gonna KILL SOMEBODY! How could they do this to poor little Gracie? Such a sin! I wanna know what you're gonna do! When Rosie said Gracie was scared of boys, I thought that something really bad had happened, like some dude molested her when she was six or something. That would have been a sin... Grace comes up with the wittiest little remarks! eh heh... Angel and Sofi really love each other... nice. That was hilarious. And Jer and Angel actually /were/ plotting something! Good job fellas...
Rosie's gonna try to get Jackie's songs done up! Awesome! I'm so happy! Too bad Jack couldn't have been the one to record them... ::sniffles:: Somebody was following Gracie home? That's never good when it comes to a Mercer being followed, especially when that Mercer happens to be a girl... and an almost 10-year-old one at that. Of course Bobby will protect her! He loves her, even if he'll never actually say it. He's Bobby.
That must have looked so cute, Bobby and Grace curled up together! I'm so glad she took the picture... I hope Bobby doesn't get rid of it! Eh heh... that was hilarious when he pinned her and took the camera. And Gracie! Perfect timing! Too bad she didn't have a camera on her as well!

Oh, and did you know that the Four Brothers DVD is s'posed to be coming out Dec. 20th? I can't wait for it! And I'm pretty sure you'll be getting it too! Five days before Christmas! Yes!

Hahahaha, Bobby Mercer lost to a 9-year-old! A 9-year-old girl no doubt! And he was a professional hockey player! But I guess it's cause he didn't have the heart to hurt her. Or maybe she just rocks.
I love the dark little element you put into the story, with that Curtis guy. It's a little amusing, really. Cause ya got Rosie, this big-shot famous director person who's raising her daughter by herself, and she's showing up in this dude's office cause of something that happened what - 10 years ago?
Yay! Sarah's doing good! I always liked her. I did! Don't you remember me telling you that? But hey, if her daughter's all rich and famous and stuff, why is she still working? Rosie could support her! Maybe she just wants to make it on her own though...

Yeah, that little scene there with Rosie and that Curtis guy was a bit out there. Kinda dark and unexpected. So he was like, dating Claire or something, and he like beat her or cheated on her or some shit? maybe. That's my guess, anyway.
