ah, another good Carson story, what shall i say?

I like how you have them "handling" Carson - Elizabeth & Teyla seem to have the only common sense when it comes to things like removing shoes & his jacket.

This was absolutely darling :) I love seeing the team motherhenning Carson like that. I thought this was well written too, and I loved how the guys didn't get that Carson would be much more comfortable with his shoes and jacket off. Nice Girl-thinking guy-thinking senario.

I was rereading this today and it's just as good the second time around. I really enjoyed it. The camaraderie and affection they all have for one another really comes through but in a subtle way and sprinkled with just the right amount of humor. There were little incidential lines that painted perfect pictures in my head (aside from the man eating couch, of course):

“Hey, keep it down, this is the-“
“Game of the century,” voices around the room chorused none too quietly.

and

"Ronon stood stretching with the deadly elegance of a waking grizzly."

This was great. I have a huge *soft spot* for Carson and I loved the way he was portrayed here. In fact, I loved how all of them were portrayed. And the "Rodney Treating Plan" was great thing, too.
This fic made me smile and feel warm inside :-)

Wonderful characterisations. Love John & Rodney's particular brand of "nursemaiding" Carson. So very them!

And "We'll treat him the way we treat Rodney." "What do you mean 'the way we treat Rodney'?" LOL! Perfect!

I thought this was wonderful the first time I read it and still do. The idea of the couch was just a hoot as I'm sure most of us have sat or snoozed in such a beast at one time or another. The team representation in your story was terrific, how they all pooled around Carson for support but didn't fawn all over him, just kept an eye on him. Great idea of a story!
