I think you managed the timing of the action and angst well and I was literally on the edge of my seat as they worked out their respective pasts together. I find a lot of angsty fics drag on and lose their momentum but you kept this one under control - enough detail and action to keep it true to the show but without dragging it out too much, something I'm going to try to do with my fic now that I've seen how it can be done so well. I thought that the TV version was so contrived and Lee behaved pretty OOC. I like the way you handle dialogue, your action sequences on the Astral Queen were very convincing, and the way you show Starbuck is entirely in line with how she comes across in BSG. I was amazed to read at the end that this was your first fanfic. Congratulations, and thank you!

I haven't been able to keep up with B.G. as much as I want to, so I don't know if any of that was in the canon plot, but it should have been. I think I noticed some grammatical errors, but nothing big; a plural when there should have been a singular, maybe? Thanks for writing such a great story.
