bec 1/21/13 . chapter 1 Lovedit. |
fanka77 4/12/12 . chapter 8 Very, VERY good story with a perfect conclusion. Brava! |
divad relffehs 12/29/11 . chapter 3Your depiction of the US gov breaks my SOD. It would take more then these events to so quickly change the character of our society to the point that this kind of thing would happen. |
divad relffehs 12/29/11 . chapter 2You've probably heard this but... With the tech advantages, such as orbital superiority, America doesn't need to fear a war with the rest of the world aside from a displeasure at slaughtering whatever solidiers are sent against them by irresponsible leaders. We already have the most potent millitary force in the world and with the tech gained from the stargate all the other nations together really wouldn't stand a chance. |
Zeki Young 7/25/11 . chapter 8another wonderful and original story. You are a Sam Jack writing legend. |
Sasha713 10/19/09 . chapter 8It is sad to say, but I think that this story has a grain of truth in it. We humans are a fallible bunch and are ndeed very young. You always seem to capture something profound within your writing. Nicely done. |
Ellana-san 11/30/08 . chapter 8I really liked your story. It's very true and I think it's a great job. Thank you! |
lealea 12/11/07 . chapter 8Omg! this is so good! its so powerful! and it had me choking back tears with nearly every chapter! what an amazing story! and tbh i always thought that if they did go public with the stargate, sumit like this might happen... thanks for the great read! defo one of my fav sg1 storys EVER! x |

Wolfgirl13 6/28/07 . chapter 8Heart-breaking. Beautiful. Great Job! |
14karatgold 4/28/07 . chapter 8Wow. This story wrenched tears from my eyes. My face was quite literally a waterfall. And you know what the sad part is: I have a feeling something like this will happen to Earth one day. Maybe not soon, but the "stubborn paranoia", as you put it, of our governments will take its toll. Beautiful story. It outlines raw emotions of everyday life and the possiblility of losing control of them. THis got to me, and I will honestly say I've never cried over reading a story (on before. I will carry these possiblities with me for life. Thank you. kt |
ArafelSedai 4/26/07 . chapter 8Sadly, it has me reflecting on our current state of affairs and how the world seems to be spiraling out of control...with no help from SGC. Your angst and tension were nicely developed without drawing it out so long that one lost interest. Loved the scene between Jack and Sam in the yard behind his house...always imagined it like that for them myself. Bittersweet ending...tasted good. 8-) |
ElDani 4/20/07 . chapter 8This story was recommended from a dear friend of mine .. as something to read when I'm feeling melancholy again. Well, I did read it in such a mood and even before the - very different - epilogue it has blown me away. What amazes me the most is this massive amount of character development with often very few words. There's a grave difference between a story that lacks details or insight and one that challenges the reader to extract those details from the reader's own muse and mind. I really enjoyed the way you painted Teal'c and Sam Carter with only a few sentences. Also this story hasn't ended on any definitive terms and your epilogue is just a collection of thoughts and scenes that perfectly portray a small glimmer of hope in the grand scheme of this story. You even opened yourself some possibilities for a sequel, then again I'm not someone who craves shipper-heavy stories which is something I'd definitely see in their (Jack & Sam') future. |
SilverAngel99 3/20/07 . chapter 8Oh, wow. I think I cried with just about every chapter of this story. It has got to be one the saddest stories I've read, but at the same time one of the most beautiful. You are an amazing writer, this story was handled so well. The characters were perfect and heartwrenching, from Daniel forcing himself to giving up and Sam making that bomb. This really was such a beautiful story. Thank you for writing it. |
owaranai.natsu 10/19/06 . chapter 8omg, this whole story has somehow got me into thinking that this is how stargate is gonna end. i mean, the ori have to do some big thing and we do too...but this is how it SHOULD be...it's the cutest. very justly poetic. |
