This was one of my very first fanfictions ever. It is still so beautiful and it doesn´t matter that I read it about ten times now, I still almost cry.
I really have a thing for sad stories and this short masterpiece is one of my absolute favourites. Together with "Live on" it is just... pleasure...

very well written, gives a strong feeling of knowing Iruka's innermost thoughts and of almost being him.
Can't wait for the kakashi POV! You have to do one!

Aw. Poor sad little Iruka. And what's more sad is that this is so real. I mean, this little problem of his. Happens in 'real life' far too often. Y'know? Ugh. Am I making sense? Damn. Must be getting late. The ability to articulate is completely failing me. T_T

I give up all hope that you will ever update The Silent Blade. Why do you torture us? If you give up on a story you must put on a BIG DISCONTINUED sign on it. Oh! So sad! I liked the part where you talk about Iruka 'what if'ing... I've been in his spot before... v. painful and so this drabble has alot of meaning for me.

cute. i know odd word to describe a piece of angst but it's the word that comes to mind. we all like to paint iruka as a facade don't we.
