Horrible. I hope they are saved in the end...

Wow, this is exactly how a normal person would feel after killing someone as Harry did. He had to, he knew he did but he still felt badly for it. Which is a good thing as he still has a good heart in him.

the bit about Snape being portrayed as a shadow, was for lack of better words, very cool.

...I loved the depth to harry's emotion, his reasoning of his crime, and the certainty of the people's reaction. This was perfect.

Great fic. I guess you could just write - Voldemort's body next to the white, clean tomb of Dumbledore and you would have the same end and HBP-compatible story. If the kid would be able to understand Snape is a pawn in much worse position than he... (-:

Beautifully written piece with a touch of poetry. I really enjoyed the fact that Harry and Snape were able to reach an understanding at the end despite the fact that it's an unfortunate one.

Though I have to disagree on one fact and that it's Voldemort who went after Harry first so in this case it would be self-defence and therefore be justified.

Well-written and sincere. I don't agree with the premise though.

Since Voldemort will never give up his intention to kill Harry (and since he has shown his sincerity by repeatedly acting on that intention), it will be self-defense for Harry to kill him, whether done with premeditation, at a time of Harry's choosing, or on the spur of the moment, in response to Voldemort's attack. Killing is killing - but not all killing is murder. And not all killers are murderers.

Br... This was chilling. It's so true, when you think of it. Harry and Snape, in the end, will indeed be very much alike.
Excellent one-shot.

This was very powerful.
I very much liked the description of Albus lifting Voldemort's body with a spell. Made me think of: I was my hands in innocence. Very well done :)

One tiny comment.
what wasn't clear to me was whether Snape was just giving his opinion, or whether he actually got Harry's replies ...
I get the feeling that Snape instinctively knew Harry's responses, but personally, I would have liked to be sure that Harry actually responded to Snape.(am I making sense?)
