| Perspicacity 2008-07-16 ch 4,  | abuseI enjoyed this piece a great deal. It was deliciously sad and potent, tears shed in solitude. You wove the poem elegantly into the story and your piece was just the right length. The only thing I'd change is I felt there was a little too much description of what happened to everyone in the end. We could have heard just about the fates of the very closest (Ginny, Hermione, and Ron, maybe Albus) dying and it would have sufficed--the sense of loss Harry would feel would justify the poem. I feel the slightly too long exposition at the end broke the tone of the piece slightly. But this is a very minor thing. In all, it was a well written, thoroughly enjoyable piece. |
