His desperate yearning for peace within himself is made more tragic than the war without, because it is so personal. Truly, a gripping and insightful look into the pain of one of the most enigmatic characters in the series (at least, in my opinion). Superbly done. Not the hopeful, happy, bouncy character that so many like to mock, but a deeper, more pained woman who sees hope crushed before her eyes, and still rallies her strength to begin anew. And her mournful tribute to the dead brings her depth of character into an even starker relief than before. Thank you for treating her with insight, sensitivity, and dignity.
