lemurianlass 2009-11-29 . chapter 44 I have just read Skewed and Relative Motion back to back over the past 2 days. They are both fantastic stories and i enjoyed them greatly. Many Thanks for your creativity and knowledge. |
a longtime fan 2009-11-17 . chapter 1 I continue to check in regularily in hopes of seeing a continuation to this fantastic story. I miss your versions of Charlie and Don.
Skewed and Realtive Motion were fanfiction perfection. Thank you, thank you, thank you. |
DruidRaven2090 2009-11-02 . chapter 44This was fantastic. After reading Skewed I just had to read Relative Motion. I loved it! This was fantastic and I love reading every chapter. You have truely taken the characters and put them in an original plot that fits. I hope there is a sequel, but understand if you don't have the time. Thank you so much for posting Skewed and Relative Motion. "Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally foward in whatever way they like" (Lao Tzu). -Raven |
Sharon 2009-05-27 . chapter 44I must admit I didn't see Hobie as the serial killer coming! That surprised me, but a good author doesn't tip her hand and reveal the unexpected too soon. I thought he might give Don more of a struggle when he was captured, try to take advantage of the situation but, of course, I knew Don would win out in the end.
Some things were left answered in my mind like who was bugging the office, was Colby a plant or was it simple good timing he was reassigned to LA when he was, and a resolution to the Oates death. Is there another sequel coming? Will we get a chance to see if Don recovers his sight?
It was a twist to see Charlie jealous and how he tried to deal with the emotion. I love the brother interaction! Great job and great story! |
Sharon 2009-04-14 . chapter 16I love seeing the Don and Charlie work together and I hate it when something happens to make them stop communicating. This was a good chat between them.
You continue to do an amazing job describing how Don is adjusting to not being able to see and the learning he's going through. |
Sharon 2009-04-08 . chapter 6The pace is picking up! So typical of Don to downplay how much of a target he is and to be focused on Charlie. Why do I get the feeling he may regret that later? |
Sharon 2009-04-06 . chapter 3I enjoyed Skewed so much and I'm happy to finally have a chance to start the sequel. Finding out Don was blinded by shrapnel made me wince in the irony but it's been interesting to see how he's coping. I like getting Alan's point of view in this chapter.
I'll be reading as time allows and leaving reviews as I get the chance. |
epalladino 2009-03-22 . chapter 44An excellent sequel to your other story. I'm amazed how well you make a blind Charlie and Don work as characters. I'm really hoping that you'll have a followup story to this one. I like the glimpse you give into Alan's new love life and the little hints you give that Charlie may still get together with Amita.
I'd also love to find out what happens to Don and whether his condition is permanent or not. I'm impressed as well with how you show that Alan is having difficulty coping with what has happened to his sons and that as much as he loves them that he's not a saint. I would love some followup on his relationship with Rose and their coping with her stroke.
The mystery you developed here was excellent and shows that both Charlie and Don's strengths are not weakened by disability.
Thanks, Beth |
 Skywise 2009-03-21 . chapter 44 NO! It can't be over..darn it! Now I'm bummed.
But what a sweet ending. In my world, Don will eventually get his site back...just cause he's big brother and all. I've been lucky enough to return to your story shortly after an update, I stopped reading Numb3rs fanfic a while ago, still come back now and then just to browse but I usually don't read anything. But I kept up with your story and enjoy rereading both tales. I like entering your world of Numb3rs, you have the characters down to a T, and its nice when you can come across a story like that. Makes it worth reading. I'm going to miss the anticipation of waiting for a new chapter from you.
Thank you so very much for sharing with us Relative Motion and Skewed. I'll be back to read them again over and over again.
Take Care. |
tearbos 2009-03-16 . chapter 44Well, this is a great story so it's been worth the wait. I'm glad you could end it on a happy note even if things aren't exactly happily ever after. |
AnickaMarie 2009-03-16 . chapter 44Very nice job tying up the loose ends. Sad to see the story ending though. I've really enjoyed reading this 'verse from you. Any chance of another fic continuing it or something else from you to look forward to? |
Harm Marie 2009-03-16 . chapter 44I think that it was worth the wait. I loved it. I'm also glad that Alan finally learned that they are okay. |
Cascade Waters 2009-03-16 . chapter 44Have you ever grieved the end of a story not of your own creation? I've become intimately familiar with the shapes and colors and flavors of grief over the past few months, and it seems the most fitting way to describe how I feel at seeing the close of this story. You've known for years that I've loved this concept, this arc, and what you've done with it, but in case you'd forgotten, this should reinforce the value of the stories you have to tell, and your giftedness in the telling of them. I'm sorry if this sounds silly or overly effusive, but I'm serious--I've loved Skewed and Relative Motion since the beginning, and they will always be on my short-list of favorite fiction, fan or otherwise. Thank you for sharing. |
Scifigrocerygal 2009-03-16 . chapter 44A great ending to a great story, thank you for finishing it.
It tied up all the ends without being a cliche ending.
You are an awesome writer! |
Beth Pryor 2009-03-16 . chapter 44It's so wonderful that you've finished this. Such a labor of love, and you chose to share it with us. Thanks so much. I'll definitely be looking forward to what you have to offer in the future. |
